# Terms of Service — Sober Streak

Effective date: June 10, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application Sober Streak — Quit Drinking (package dev.rokitskiy.soberstreak, the “App”), developed by Rokitskiy.DEV (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

2. Not medical advice

Sober Streak is a habit-building and motivational tool. It is not a medical device, treatment, therapy or a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling with alcohol addiction or experience withdrawal symptoms, consult a qualified healthcare professional. Sudden alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Content in the App and its community is provided for mutual support and information only.

3. Your account

Sign-in is provided via your Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing us — see the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Community Guidelines

The App includes a community forum. By posting you agree to the following:

  • Be supportive. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats or shaming of any member, including those who relapse.
  • No promotion of alcohol or drugs. Do not encourage drinking or substance use, share drinking content, or advertise alcohol products.
  • No dangerous advice. Do not present yourself as a medical professional or give medical instructions (e.g. detox protocols).
  • No spam or self-promotion, no illegal content, no sexually explicit content, no disclosure of other people’s personal information.
  • Respect privacy. What is shared in the community stays there — do not repost members’ stories elsewhere.

Moderation. Content is filtered automatically and reviewed by moderators. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion. You can report any topic or reply (flag icon) and mute any member (their content disappears from your device; undo in Settings → Community).

5. Your content

You retain ownership of what you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display and distribute your posts within the App for the purpose of operating the community. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

6. Purchases, subscriptions and tips

  • All payments are processed by Google Play; prices are shown before purchase.
  • Premium subscriptions (monthly/yearly) auto-renew until cancelled in Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase tied to your Google Play account.
  • Tips (“Support the developer”) are voluntary one-time donations. They do not unlock features and are non-refundable except as required by Google Play’s refund policy or applicable law.
  • Refunds are handled according to Google Play’s refund policy.

7. Advertising

Free users see ads (Google AdMob). Rewarded ads are always optional. Premium removes ads. See the Privacy Policy for details on ad personalization and consent.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App: no reverse engineering, automated scraping, interfering with the service, circumventing security or accessing other users’ data.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its design, branding and content (excluding user posts) are owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, or outcomes related to your recovery process. Community posts reflect their authors’ views, not ours. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.

11. Changes and termination

We may update the App and these Terms; material changes will be announced in the App or on this page. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
